Can my patient pay for a test directly?
Yes. If you wish for the patient to pay for the test directly, please select patient payment as the billing type when completing your order and provide a full name and email address of the person responsible for the payment. The payer should be the patient or a close relative. Third-party payments (e.g, charities, insurance companies) are not accepted).
We will send an email to the provided email address with a protected payment link as soon as we have received and processed the order. The link will direct the patient to a Windcave online form where the payment can be completed by Visa or Mastercard. A regular invoice including our bank details is also attached to the email should they wish to pay by bank transfer instead.
As soon as a patient payment has been completed and we have received the sample, we will proceed with the analysis.
If we do not receive the payment within 3 weeks from sending the link, we’ll contact you to agree on the next steps.
