How can that result be negative?!
We’ve all seen families for whom we were sure genetic testing would be conclusive – but instead, the report states “NEGATIVE.” How can that be? Of course, there are the obvious explanations, but are there other ways to critically evaluate those results?

During this talk, Julie Hathaway, MSc, CGC, CCGC, will review factors that may explain a negative or uninformative result, provide practical tips that can help genetic counsellors navigate a test’s fine print, and introduce new questions to bring to your friendly laboratory GC colleagues!
This Seminar has been approved by the CAGC for 1.25 CECs.
